Hellllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooo!
Well this week was awesome. Come to find out, we are even our own branch. We are so small that we are a Group. I didn’t even know that existed. It is really funny because when I started out me mission in Chiquimula I was able to meet some of the members and they still remember me! I am so stoked to be here. It is even a little cold! We are seeing so many miracles and I have only been here a few days.  This is place is so ready to hear the gospel. And it is unlike any area I have ever had.... I cant really talk much about it now, but when I get home I will try to explain it. The church is a little, little house and we don’t even have a sign, just a banner. Haha I love it. And we aren’t dividing the area. We are working together! HA this place is huge. I don’t think I will ever get bored.
My companion is not tall. Haha but she is Tongan and she goes to a Tongan ward. She rocks! I love her! Her name is hna Kioa!

I love you guys! The church is true!!

Well last night we got changes calls. I did not thing I would have changes. I love Estanzuela and I loved being to do division with all the Hermanas. I thought if I would have changes, I would be going to Puerto Barrios. I got changes saying that I would be training a gringa outside of the capital. WHAT?! I was shocked. I spent half the night half crying and the other part hand washing more clothes then I thought I had. But if the Lord wants it like this, Ill do it.

About 20 minutes ago we got a calling saying that I will be opening up San Luis! It is a little village outside of Ipala (where the cool volcano is). We will be the first hermanas there. My companion is from California but they told me she is Tongan and really tall. She has a cool last name that I cant pronounce. The Elders are already there so we are going to divide the area. The Elders are the branch president. I am so pumped!! I never thought this would happen. I have always said that I don’t want to open area or train someone who doesn’t speak Spanish.... but I know that changes are inspired. Lets do this!!
But yet, I am sad to be leaving. I am really content with my work here. I know I gave it everything I had. Leaving the Familia Barillas will be one of the hardest things that I have ever had to do... but the good thing is that in three months you guys will get to meet them.
It was a really tough week with lots of up and downs. But I am so grateful for the chance I have to be a missionary. I know the church is true and I know that God is a God of miracles. I have seen then in my familia and I have seen them here in Guatemala. Guatemala is sacred ground for me. I love everything!! You guys rock!!

Sorry I don’t have photos this week. Expect lot next week!!

I know that I have put my all into this area-. 100% complacida with the work we are doing. I am working on my 6th month here... we will be getting change calls this Sunday night. I don’t want to leave but I think I might have too. I love my companion... I want to take her with me if I have changes haha But life is good.
Don’t hid your problems, SOLVE THEM!! The Lord loves us are he want us to let Him help us.

Well other than Kyle crashing my car, I glad everything is well. No worries Kyle, you have three months to buy me a new one!! Haha no worries bro I know it wasn’t your fault. Congrats!!! You graduated from school!! I remember on the day of my graduation Becky and I locked the keys in the car with our caps and gowns..... but then we broke into it using a hanger!

This week was a week full of miracles. We are esforzando nos to have many contacts everyday. It is a lot harder then I thought. We felt like we were contacting all day, but still at 8:30 at night we were still pressing forward to meet the goal. With one of the contacts we made, the lady was busy but she told us to come back the next day. We did just that! We entered her house and it full of all thing catholic, ni modo we had plans to teach lesson one (the restoration). We taught a grandma and her daughter. Her daughter had three hijos that were throwing books and running and screaming. We were able to feel the spirit and at the end, we were explaining the Book of Mormon and asked them if they had ever seen it. The Mom responded that her husband was a returned missionary! And that she had always wanted to know more about the church but her husband lives in the states to they never have gone to church. We invited them to baptism and they told us yes!! Milagro!! I haven’t lost the faith that there are people prepared. The field is white and ready to harvest!!

I love Hna Benitez! We get a long so great. I have been truly blessed with amazing companions. I can’t believe we will get change calls in two weeks! I have 4 changes (almost 6 months) here... I don’t know if I will be given another change. Estanzuela is by far my favorite area. It was a lot of challenges but I love it here with all my heart.

Good news!!! Winter is about to start!! Well.... what they call winter and what I call winter are two different things but whatever. It has started to rain!!!

This week we were teaching outside sitting on the dirt... then it started to rain! We were once again teaching the most important message we have to offer. It was so great! I felt even more love for my calling! I don’t even care if we sweat or if we get rained on of if nobody wants to let us in. I know this church is the only true church on the earth. I love being a missionary. We don’t get paid for doing what we do. A lot of people will never know how much we have to go through, but we do it because Salvation is possible because of Christ. And we want everyone to know!

Life is great and I hope you guys are doing great!!!

We had our interviews with Presidente Crapo y Hna Crapo. They are the best!!! Hna Fiek, I don’t want to make you jealous but, they took Hna Benitez and I out to eat in El Establo. The food was better then we could have ever imagined!! Pues si, it was just our branch because Elder Pichardo had a kidney stone! He is confined to his bed for the next week. That is terrible!!! We each got a half an hour to talk about what ever we wanted. Hna Benitez and I have been collecting questions to ask all change so we used up every second! Interviews are the best!

Because the Elders were living the hospital for a few days, we took control of their investigator who was getting baptized on Saturday. It was a crazy week, but Hno Manuel se bautizo! It was awesome!!

This week I started the LDM over again. I was reading in 1Nephi 16:28 the other day and I really learned that the Liahona worked according to their faith and diligence. Faith and diligence things aren’t just one time. It’s continued faith and hard work That is the key To have success.

Also, this week my companion and I had two (almost three) really rough days. We weren’t meeting our goals even though we were trying really hard. On the third day we didn’t have much time to work because of a baptism. We were walking around and no one let us in. Finally, we said a prayer in the street. Our
time is almost just so we started to walk home. We were walking and talking and then in the middle of our conversation we stopped and contacted a house. They let us in !! It was 2 families of 4 people each! The Lord answers prayers!! It was to our little MIRICAL for the day.

I know God loves us. We are His! I hope you guys have a great week!!
