AHHHHH I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH! Because I didn’t have a p-day last
week, I had a nice 50 emails to read and respond to haha I loved them! Thanks
for the pictures!!!! Luke and Karter are growing too much! Even Kacie nae has
grown. I miss you guys! Okay I have a lot to write and no time (like always) my
last week at the CCM was awesome. And hazy... because of the earthquake the
volcanoes were going crazy. Lots of smoke. IM FREE FROM THE CCM! I miss
it though haha it was like the Garden of Eden everything was done for me. It
was grand aha. Last Sunday I sang with my district, and gave a talk, and say
the closing prayer! (In Spanish) How the Sundays works is that the call people
as the need to give a talk.... AKA I was freaking out when they called my name.
Leaving the CCM was hard. AHH but I love my mission president!!!!! Holy cow,
sister watts is the sweetest woman in the world. We were at change conference
and she made everyone stand up who she didn’t give a hug to. AND she makes
awesome treats!
Okay so during my time at the CCM we got a map of the mission. I saw
the town Chiquimula and I knew that one day I would serve there... little did I
know it would be so soon! At change conference they said two sisters would be
sent to Chiquimula and I knew it was going to be me and then the said there was
3 north American trainers and one Latina and I knew that the Latina would be my
trainer.... funny how the spirit works... My trainer is Hna. Perez form Bolivia.
I LOVE HER! She doesn’t speak English and so it makes me learn Spanish faster. Okay
so 2/3 of the missionaries serve their whole mission in the capital so everyone
keeps telling me how lucky I am. OH!!! And sister Mckee (My CCM best friend) is
in my zone!!! I get to see her three times a week. It is such a huge
blessing"!
Yesterday was a hard one for me. The church is true no matter where
you are.... but it is a lot different here in my barrio. The people are amazing
though! The kids are so cute!! I have like 10000000 stickers that they give me.
Everyone is very patient with my Spanish. Our area is HUGE! We take the bus
everywhere..... The buses here are 12 passenger vans with the doors torn off...
the people here are INSANE drivers. The first lesson I taught was in a hut. It
was SWEET!!!!! Everything is different then I thought... I don’t even know how
to explain it.
OH!! I have to tell you guys about Famillia España! They are one our
15 new investigators this week... The dad is so prepared to hear the gospel! He
had a dream that he met two sisters that had a message from god and that he
needed to listen to what they had to say... guess who showed up at his door
THAT SAME DAY!!! The church is so true! The people here are so humble.
Wanna hear my favorite mission rule? NO FISH!!! I almost cried when
I heard I could eat fish!!! Heavenly Father loves me.
I CANT WAIT TO SKYPE YOU GUYS IN 6 DAYS!! It feels like I just
left.. Time doesn't have sense here. I am losing myself in the work. I can’t
wait until I know Spanish... that will be a great day when I can speak
fluently. There is a scripture that I love because it is how I feel about
the people in guate Mosiah 28:3
I LOVE EVERYONE! Send my love and accept the friend requests from
guate!
Hna Crouch
PS Happy late birthday to KYLE, ALEXX, CHELSEA, SHAY SHAY! And happy
