We don’t celebrate thanksgiving here but a family knows that I do... they are going to put of a full thanksgiving dinner to celebrate con migo! Wow! So much to be thankful for.

First of all: CAMBIOS! Hermana Gomez se va! I will be receiving a new companion tomorrow. I am sad to see her go. It was a little rough at the beginning of our first change together but now we get along so well. Right before Christmas! But on the bright side, I will be seeing Scottie because he enters into the field tomorrow and 5 elders in my zone will be training so we might be in the same zone! Also my trainer from Boliva will be going home so it will be nice to see her one last time.

Happy anniversary to my parents! Wow, 28 years together! I love you guys! And also... a little late but happy anniversary to Tristin and Josh... 7 de Nov... I am a little late.

Oh! We received new agendas this week.... THEY ARE IN ENGLISH! Where are we!? Hashtag Spanish is better. I was looking at the agenda and I couldn’t figure out why it was black and now blue... then it hit me.. it is in English! You have a genius for a daughter.

We had two baptisms this week! It was beautiful! I will send pictures. I also got my Christmas packages! Yahooooo! Thanks!! I haven’t opened them, no worries. They got here is little under a month, que rapido!

A la gran.... Kyle! So you went rock climbing and broke your foot!? Oh dear, but I am glad everything is more under control.

Ahhh I forgot my agenda en la casa so I cant remember what I was going to say in this email..... sorry!

But in the spirit of thanksgiving:

I am so thankful for good parents who raised me.

I am thankful to be serving a mission. It is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love this place and all the things I am learning.

But most important, I am thankful for my testimony of this gospel. I know it is true. Everyday I get to share the best things in life. I know that families can be together forever. The gospel is the source of my happiness and my hope.

Thank you guys for everything. I am truly blessed! 

PS I will be starting an Upshaw tradition here... thankful candle!!
